        Jesus Mick. Looks incredible. WOuld be great to see a picture of yours next to a standard lift and a stock standard to see the real differenmce in there.

        Are you happy with the ride quality or is it the same as with the standard lift prior to your playing around?

          A stocker (GXL) is around 750 front 780 rear. Mine was 745/765 when I started out; Dual battery in front and Outback drawers in the rear first time I measured.

          I had OME springs and shocks in it for the last 45k km's so ride is much the same except for the shock valving as I have upgraded to Sports Nitrochargers, these are a good improvement over the standard Nitrocharger valving. My Nitrochargers were a little tired to say the least so handling has improved by a good margin.

              I've been reading all the height measurements but I’m particularly interested in the droop measurements some people have posted.

              However I’m a bit confused as Double_D posted a RR/RL measurement of 850/855 and said only 20mm droop in the rear. Another post had a rear measurement of 860 and someone said there wouldn't be much down travel left in the shocks.

              What is confusing me is my rear is around 850mm and I have a lot more droop than 20mm. Perhaps I’m not understanding droop or how to measure it. I lifted a wheel off the ground on a track and measured from the bottom of the rim through the centre to the wheel arch and subtracted my normal flat ground value and got a figure around 125mm. Am I measuring wrong? What is a normal amount of droop at an average rear height of say 820?

              I have OME 896 springs with 60004 shocks. I will measure again and post exact measurements when I get a chance.

                I'd say that's a typo on Double_D's part.

                    I've had for the last 2 years and I've been rapt.

                    KONI shocks front and rear
                    KING springs front and rear
                    Poly Air Bags in rear

                    I now have issues with front suspension, rear is seriously good.

                    The set up was great until I did some more recent mods to the car. I've since added a winch and extra compressor/tank.

                    I've phoned the mob who supplied the original KING springs and they were rated for the lift and the bar work but not for the winch and other stuff.

                    I've noticed the front has dropped a bit since the last additions, so I'm about to change the front springs. Beef em up a bit.

                    My measurements now are;

                    FR 765
                    FL 750
                    RR 840
                    RL 830

                    I'd have to say the front has dropped a good 30 mil since adding the winch and other gear.

                      Have just upgraded the original suspension after 92,500kms!

                      Used Shane at Suspension Stuff and had the following installed yesterday:

                      Dobinsons Coils F: (C59-302) R: (C59-327)
                      Lovells Gas Legend Shocks

                      Measurements:

                      Front Passenger 746 -> 773
                      Front Driver 743 -> 778

                      Rear Passenger 763 -> 831
                      Rear Driver 770 -> 839

                      Very happy with the onroad ride results so far. Will post about the performance following my trip to Fraser Island later this month.

                                Dont list all ya mods, you will only be more upset when i get further
