Hello guys. I hope that I can get reasonable answers to my question about OME. I have talked with the seller that delivers OME here in Norway. He believed that the 883 front and 895 rear would work to my car. I have the winch attached to the 2 "Receiver in front. Otherwise, the car has bullbar on the front and skidplates under. The winch use to be in the trunk along with other recovery equipment (a total of about 60 kilo of recovery equipment. When I go on a road trip with the family is sometimes over 100 kg plus two adults and one child (75x2 + 10 kg). With the information you have now, is it wrong to go for 883 and 895?

Sounds like a good combo HP.
I went with the 884's in the front, to start with, and wound up having to change to the (883's - wrong number - sorry about the brain fade) 885's when the winch went in.
I run the 896's in the rear with a set of Firestone airbags ... and that's with a bit of weight in the back all of the time.
The 895's will be firmer - my missus would say harsher - but if the weight is there they will ride fine.

Chippy the 883's are the lighter spring which is what i have, Highway patrol, if you have a steel bullbar and been a diasel you may want to go 884 but 895 is good for the back.Originally posted by ChippySounds like a good combo HP.

I think you wil find Chippy meant 885 and that 883 was a mistake.
Originally he had 884s
Then states will go for heavier duty
Clearly intends to go for 885s

Hello again.
My car has A-bar in front. Not heavy frontbumper as you have. The winch is removable, and I do not run with it when I do not need it. The winch has dynex rope, and are not as heavy as it would with a steel wire. I'm looking to get the same lift as I see others have had with their cars, because I need a minimum of 40 mm lift for my car to work optimal. My car is 5 years and has rolled 130.000 km. Will I be able to get about 50 mm lift with 883?

You should still be fine, I have V6 but have full alloy bar dual battery, bash plates and I am fine with the 883's.[b]Rob[/b]

Hi
I was under the car to see yesterday for Measuring the spacers for toyota springs as the car is raised on this day. When measuring the rear 40 mm and 20 mm front. I think it will be enough lift to go for 883 in front. I have ordered the OME set now, and will get to post pictures and meashurments of what the difference was from the original Toyota springs with spacers to OME. I hope I can get some inches, and that it will be slightly higher. With the load in the car so I think it is similar to a VW Beetle. Fortunately, my wife agrees with this as well that now we must have new feathers
The roads here in Norway are of very poor condition so I'm also looking for something a little stiffer than the original, but not so stiff that I can not flex with the car off-road anymore. I estimate that 883 is a bit stiffer than the original feathers. As long as I can get the minimum length of the original feather plus 25 mm in front with 883 spring I'm satisfied. I reckon that I can get even more than I have today, since feathers are old and gone much

hi im looking at purchasing ome 50mm/40mm??? suspension and unsure of wat weighted coils & struts i will need for my vehicle. It has an alloy bullbar, winch, dual batteries a fridge and 100kgs of camping gear anyone one with a bit of know how or advice would be greatly appreciated!
