I fitted myself, the back is fine but the front is a bit of a pain, and you will need access to a spring compressor.
Perfect!! Thanks mate!! John it might be a tad late to contact you tonight but will give you a bell tomorrow! And rack your brain :-)

      I've got the Bilstein/Lovells setup.

      Front Springs TFR118
      Rear Springs TRR119

Front Height: 770mm bottom of rim to guard (spring on bottom clip of shock)
Rear Height: 820mm bottom of rim to guard

The before heights were 735mm front, 770mm rear.

I'm very happy with my setup. When I put a fully loaded trailer on the back, the car still rides level without air bags. The ride is nice and firm but not uncomfortable.

If you've never worked on suspension before, it might be easier to pay to have it done. You'd be looking at 1 hour for the rears and 2 hours for the front. With a wheel alignment you should be able to get it done for around $300.

Nice choice, and a nice ride height of 810/840. I think you'll be happier with the Dobinsons springs. Is that with the circlip on the front spring seat of your Bilsteins at the bottom (factory) setting?

Hi Peter, yea I'm stoked with how it drives, mackayvx took her for a spin the others day and was impressed, and yea for the moment the circlip is in the 1st position (factory or bottom) on the front struts

WOW... I wouldn't mind those sort of heights....

I went with the Lovells Coil & Shock combination
                          Front Springs TFR118HD
                          Rear Springs TRR119
                          Lovell Shocks

And I didn't get anywhere near that lift....

                          my height is:
                          Front/760mm
                          Rear/800mm

I definitely need a greater lift, especially in the Front end for clearance

I was talking with 4wd trekmaster here in BNE when I was thinking of going with a Lovells kit on the 120 after having such a good run with them on the 90. He advised me that Lovells have never really gotten it right for the front end of the 120 and everyone he's fitted have been unhappy with the height.
I took that onboard and ended up with a Billies/Dobinson setup. Very happy with the lift and ride.
                            Cheers, Leon

These measurements were when the car was NEW:
LHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard 786mm (Rear) // 755mm (Front)
RHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard: 786mm (Rear) // 760mm (Front)

Suspension height measurement - with STD suspension & with ARB Bullbar installed:
LHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard 786mm (Rear) // 745mm (Front)
RHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard: 786mm (Rear) // 745mm (Front)

Suspension height measurement - with 2" LOVELLS SUSPENSION with ARB Bullbar installed:
                                LHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard 830mm(Rear) +45mm // 775mm(Front) +15mm
                                RHS: Bottom of Rim to Guard: 830mm(Rear) +40mm // 785mm(Front) +20mm

                                Now after our outback trip:
                                Front-760mm // Rear-800mm

Happy with ride, etc, but not happy with the height now
