It's unlikely the lower arm bushes are flogged. They are the largest in the IFS, and even though my bush crush tubes had siezed on the cam tubes and I had a lot of corrosion in there, the bushes were still fine. If I could have got the cams out somehow without having to cut them, I would have kept on using my old lower bushes.
The cam tubes siezing is a very common thing, and can happen on Prados with low km's on them...water and dust getting in there.
However, the lower bushes actually failing, ie, tearing and becoming unbonded from the crush tube is not as common. It still happens, but nowhere near as much as siezed cams.
