I pulled these numbers from various places here on Pradopoint, so they prolly include bullbars in some cases.
Note that the only 885 coil I have in the plot has almost 2.4" lift!
I tend to use 770mm for the rear, but it is usally somewhere in the 770-780mm range for a factory rear end.

I use the 8000kg versions from trade tools, as then you don't need to use the lever, much safer!

I made 4 of these around 25 years ago I reckon, never did get around to painting them though
Fortunately I can use whatever I like and no one tells me they don't meet OH&S standards, these have served me well for over 2 decades and I reckon will still be working fine when I am long dead and buried.
Sorry about the crappy IPhone pic, couldn't be bothered digging out the good camera.

Thanks for the pikkies!
Believe it or not, it was actually very difficult to find something I was happy with while working on the rear end and dropping the diff while doing measurements.
I did a lot of research on jack stands, and was very disappointed with what is available in Australia.
I personally don't like ratcheting mechanisms or pins, as they have both failed and killed people. The 8t stands from trade tools are high enough that you don't need to lift the ratchet.
...now that I know about your hands on construction skills, take a look at these, as this is what I really want! Tall threaded jack stands are available...but prolly very pricey to get here, so can you make these???

...this forum also has a great guide;

Sorry if this is diverting from your thread a bit Matt, but AJ needs to head back to the shed now and start welding!!!

They would be easy enough to make once the Acme thread and nut was sourced.
