So went to the shop yesterday and had the suspension tested at least.
Turns out that the rack and LCA bushes are pretty much shot and the shocks are on their last legs.

The manager bloke who was there - Shane - said don't even bother doing the lift etc with knackered bushes as all the stuff i am presently complaining about will be amplified.

So am going to get the bushes done and at the same time, do the ktfr-101h (it is not HD, just 10mm longer than the 101) up front and ktrr-102 at the back at his suggestion that it will maintain better ride height under load than the ktpr-102 up to a point obviously.
So yeah, that's where it all stands right now.

So to end off...

Ended up doing the lift with the following parts:
BE5-A712, BE5-A713, KTFR-101, KTRR-102. I also had super pro bushes to replace the shot OEM bushes.
The net result:
She has lifted from 730mm (all round) - measured from wheel bottom to arch top to:
Front: 790 (L:787 R:792)
Rear: 820 (L: 822 R: 817)

The ride is incredible, and most of the complaints I had - leaning when cornering, nose diving, harshness over bumps, lack of steering feel, looseness of feeling through the wheel - are all either gone, or barely noticeable.

I am over the moon with her performance so far and can't wait to test her off road, although my wife's excursion over the pavement the other night filled me with confidence that the car at least will go well.

Well i will have a combo of both by this afternoon. Currently running OME 896 springs in the back, will fit new Billies front and rear today, with 101HD front king springs. So I can then comment on the ride, drive and general set up. Watch this space and my build page.

So took the White Wolf off road this weekend for the first time since the new bits were added.
All I can say is: WOW!!!!!!!!!!

The difference is astounding. She feels so much more planted, safe, capable and especially, comfortable.

Her wheel travel has also greatly improved and with it her stability.

So just over a month on from the install and to say that the suspension is living up to expectations is an understatement!!

I am over the moon with the on and off road performance.
Everything is better than it was before and there has been 0 change in the heights at all.
Even after missing a speedbump and almost getting some air, she planted herself on the ground gracefully and kept going.

Needless to say I am happy I didn't go HD. I think the ride would be worse than it is now.
Even the wife agrees that it was certainly the best decision we could've made
