  • Wheel alignment after a 2 inch lift

Hi Guys, I'm sure this has been covered so apologies for probably covering old ground. After a 2 inch lift, are there any issues getting a correct wheel alignment?, or is the local tyre shop guy going to be able to do it correctly?

I have had no issues with either my previous 120 or current 150

No issues that I'm aware of.
Had mine done a few days after the install.
Perhaps have it checked and redone a few months later though - mine continued to settle a little and needed another alignment after 3-4 months.

No one has issues, no. The odd bloke doing the alignment will say it’s more difficult aligning mud terrain tyres properly though when compared to highway tyres.

Anything above a 2" lift you will have issues getting the alignment correct but 2" and under isn't an issue.

Your headlights will also likely be pointing too high.
You'll find out at night when oncoming traffic flash you.

You may need new corrected Upper control arms (UCA). These have a usually 3 degree angle built in to allow the wheel alignment to come back into specs. Brands like Blackhawk, superior etc all exist in them.
