Re: Pirelli Scorpion ATR
Hi there. I thought I would add my vote of confidence to the Scorpions. I have had them since I bought the car new as I traded the Dunlops. We have just clocked up 74,000 klm on them. As a guide we have done a fair few trips including - crossing the Simpson Desert (once), Poeppel Corner (3 times), Cameron Corner (once), Strzelecki Track (2 times), Oodnadatta Track (2 times), Walkers Crossing (2 times) and Birdsville Track to name a few. We have ALWAYS adjusted tyre pressure to suit the conditions and the tyres have never had a problem and each time we get back on the bitumen, you wouldn't know we left it. I am not yet ready to replace them. Probably will be by end of year to be safe and will get the same again.
So in my experience they are a safe, comfortable, durable and capable on\off road tyre. Hope that helps anyone looking to make a choice in the future.
