The Qld Crew all witnessed Bobsled pop a brand new BFG A/T not far out of Arkaroola.

It think when it comes to tyres and punctures you can just be unlucky.

    cheers

Interesting no comments about MT ATZ's as they are probably the next most popular tyre I'm assuming absolutely no problems with them. Please folks don't start Stewy on Dunlop Grandcraps!

As you are a Prado owner I am sure she will accept, I will except.

I also use BFG A/T's, i staked one that was only 5000k's old. Like an earlier comment i think it can just be plain old bad luck sometimes. As for coopers rolling off rims, i witnessed ondaboat's cooper ST maxx rolled off the rim whilst doing some "circuit work" on one of the dunes.
BTW did anyone fine AJ and VKPRADO for showing up without their pilot's license ???
              cheers

Guys you got it all wrong! The kuhmo muddies are the way to go! Over 35000 k'son them and most if it either towing or off roading in rocky high country/ bendelby country, they are still looking good! Plus only 200 a corner.

Agreed. The KL71's are a great tyre. They're on my short list for when I upgrade to 35's, the other options being Mickey T MTZ's and BFG KM2's

The only downer is they are directional. Not an issue for on road to run one in reverse if you got a flat on the wrong side of the vehicle, but it won't work in the mud backwards. Haven't needed the spare yet. The mickey T's look good too... When they have air in them....

I've not had Khumos on a 4wd but have had a few sets on cars, Trish has them on her Rav at the moment and I always seem to get a good run out of them.

                                Cheers Andrew
