    Always the way isn't it? Great to hear you were finally successful.

    Now to leave it soaking in WD40 while you are away to soak all the dirt out of it and to ensure it works correctly once you return.

      Now don't put it back on until you have a locksmith have a look at it. This is what I did and they adjusted some of the stuff in the barrel. Works fine now.

        After market keys

        My locksmith told me some aftermarket keys are too wide to go fully in.
        Had the same problem and had to revert to an old key to unlock spare.
        The one I was using in the ignition wouldn't unlock the spare....wouldn't go fully in.
        Now just have to work on the aftermarket one and thin it a little.
