Had 694s on previous 4wd and was happy with their performance, so saw no reason to change now. Got $125 trade-in for each G/Trek and will also receive $100 cashback from Bridgestone's September catalogue offer. Didn't need any more convincing than that.

I used to run STT 245/70's and have switched to Micky T MTZ in 265/70.
The STT's where awesome but switched to the MTZ when I got the new D4D. Only had one decent worout with the MTZ at Easter on steep rocky high country tracks and was extremey happy.
Nath, Im surprized to here you thought they where noisy.....just pump up the drivin tunes
Bridgestone D694's 275/65/17
I got 72000k out of my original Grandcraps
That truly saddens me since I've still got Craps that have done about 22.5k and looking like plently of tread remaining (about 6mm to go). I WILL be dumping these around Feb/Mar next year in favour of MT ATZ 4 Ribs!
Original Grandtreks that have about 2 mm left after less than 25,000 km. Will definitely replace them with something else in the not too distant future.
(The driving on these tyres has been very sedate too, the wife drives the Prado the most, and she potters around at or below the speed limit and doesn't try to be Lewis Hamilton around corners.)
Cooper ST 245/70 LT - very happy with them so far.
Wherever you go..there you are, it's just more comfortable getting there in the Prado....
'06 GX Ltd 3.0 TD. Ironman winch bar, dual batteries, cargo barrier, Cooper ST 245/70 r17.
Had MAXXIS ATR and now back to Grandtreks ... Maxxis are noticeably better off road, i might try the bridgestones next time, but for now am very pleased with the quiet ride of the Dunlops.

Cooper ATR LT 265/70 17, on both the Prado and the Camper Trailer, Been to the Cape and back, no issues, work well, we've been on most surfaces except mud.
I'd buy them again, if not these, the five rib Mickey Thompson's and the 694's would be on my shopping list
Does look great and had only one puncture during our entire trip for cricky in Broken Hill town centre. But, there can be worst places to get a flat tyre right? So not really complaining but certainly disappointed I did not get home without a flat. BTW you do like pics dont you! But no worries mate, We got them, plenty of them. Here is one of the coopers on the car. Look awesome dont they? Did what they are supposed to do, get you there and out.
