anyone know somewhere in the perth region to source a set of these tyres at a decent price?

I have always had good service from Emerald tyres in Joondalup 9300 2355 they are MT dealers not sure how their prices compare though.

4x4 and more is where my roofrack came from... I saw procomp tyres there... Didn't see any mt... Will try them too! Thanks guys!!

At long last I have new shoes on the Prado! Got an awesome price at $360 ea for the five, plus $55.00 for the wheel alignment, so all up $1855. I left the bloody wheel alignment settings at home, so I had to trust their settings and will keep an eye on the tread wear.
With the ATZ's on, the Prado now sits 20mm higher all round. (bonus), and I will do a speedo check against the GPS tomorrow, as the speedo was spot on pre ATZ's. I also have temporarily packed out the spare wheel carrier until amts' new spacer is available. Also, there is a definite hum with the ATZ's compared to the street rubber I had on, doesnt bother me, but I'm sure SWMBO will let me know all about it but there is a volume control on the dash that fixes that...

Good to see them on Craig. Don't worry about the slight hummmm. It will go away once they settle in, then return again everytime you rotate them. I'm still deciding on fitting either the 265/70's or the 285/70's to the FJ.

Not 100% they do MT. But their prices usually very competitive so it's worth a call.

I'm happy with ATZ4 rib offroad.
Today I went out in wombat we found a hill that was pretty steep and very slippery sloppy and rutted.
We really looked and walked a lot before I decided it was safe to give it a crack.
Just made it, it involved 4000rpm in 2nd at 0.5 klms/phr
And a heap of mud fire!
Just made it!
So my mate in his 1985 bj73 with 33 STT's on had a go, after seeing how hard it was for the Prado.
He got stopped 1/3 of the way up, many more tries and stops he made it.
Not sure if it's a fair comparison but I did it easier than an old school shortie, with good chunky 33's......

Also the bit of noise they do make compared to quiet Tyres you get used to pretty quick, I don't hear them anymore!

They dont know how to balance them though. They had four goes at mine and damaged my new rims,not interested go away. I went to bridgstones Osborn park and they couldnt help enough now all good, Emerald very rude dont give a S+it.
