Got about 73,000 out of our Cooper ATR's with still a bit of meat to go yet. Should be worn out just in time for the GTG

Well just got the Coopers changed out today. 80,430km still legal (just) but they are fightening in the wet.

Must say that the 4 wheel power drift was cool for about a second after coming out of the local shopping centre. Then told Gretta not to drive it in wet anymore till we got new shoes.

Went for BFG AT 265 70/17. $330 a tyre fitted and balanced (x5)

Just pulled out my original receipt for D694's fitted in February 2007 with odometer at 75354.
Current odo is at about 175000...

Of thouse at least 80K were done on D694 and the rest on MTR's...

Banglabill here in Perth WA I have just clocked up 60k in the original tyres fitted to the Prado when new, they are the Dunlop Grandteks.I will probably get another 5k before they are illegal.

I am going to get a set of Pirelli scorpions for $315 each, here in Perth, I think that is a good price.

Has anyone had any issues with the warranty on cooper ST's I believe that you have to rotate them religiously and prove that it was done, that means paying someone to get a receipt

80,000 KM on Grandtrecs and going strong, expect them to last up to 100,000 KM. Truly amazing tires!

I have BFG 265/70R17's. I have done 65,000kms with still plenty of tread to go. I expect another 20-25,000 remaining.

Hi Folks, first post.... I'm currently in the process of buying a friend of a friends 2008 GXL diesel with 112000K which the owner tells me has the original rubber? Given that impressive range, he basically dives onto the Highway from Nerang to Brisbane and back daily with very few corners/roundabouts in between. Theres still plenty of meat on them as well so thats probably why... Looking forward to being part of this great forum for a longtime to come and cant wait to get my hands on my dream fourby (just waiting to sell the wifes Santefe for some cash to help pay for it...

Hi Folks, first post.... I'm currently in the process of buying a friend of a friends 2008 GXL diesel with 112000K which the owner tells me has the original rubber? Given that impressive range, he basically dives onto the Highway from Nerang to Brisbane and back daily with very few corners/roundabouts in between. Theres still plenty of meat on them as well so thats probably why... Looking forward to being part of this great forum for a longtime to come and cant wait to get my hands on my dream fourby (just waiting to sell the wifes Santefe for some cash to help pay for it...

Could that really be the original rubber? 112K with 'plenty of meat' might be some kind of record.

Only got 51k out of the original Dunlops with just over 36 months of driving. Not much offroad, mainly short road trips, never checked the pressure and had only one puncture. Only did one rotation of the four tyres and never had any balances etc done. The tires still had about 2mm of tread left before the indicators but I was getting 4 wheel drift in the wet even with the traction control on. Was impressive but scared the shizen out of the old ladies when I came round corners sideways.

The LF tyre was bald on the outside left due to under inflation or all the roundabouts.

Bridgstone Dueller A/T (Not light truck version) 53000kms - 1 year. I work my tyres pretty hard but i thought they would last a bit longer.

I'm currently running BF Goodrich A/T. Nice tyre. I'll post when they run out.

I've got about 40K on my BG A/T (90% of those km are on the black stuff).

I would estimate I have about 40K at least left in them.

72,000 out of 4 ATZ 4 ribs. Started at 14mm tread depth and now at 5mm so estimate another 10-15 thou left.

Got 35,000 km so far out of 265/65/17 AT BFG & they are close to half worn sort of. At this rate will get about 75/80 km until unsafe. Very impressed with BFG.

I have done 22000 on the Bridgie 694 LT and they don't even look hardly worn at all. I think they will be good for 7-80000 but that won't be in my time.

just had my last rotation done on my 694's... my 6 tyres have done 86K and have 10-15K left. Will be interesting when I bolt the ol' Grandcraps back on!
