I paid $380 per tyre in jindabyne, the nearest other quote was $400 per tyre fitted! Got to expect to pay a bit more out here in the sticks I guess. Next time I'll be looking on eBay first

Just ordered a set of 4 x 265/17R65 , $320 ea f& b at Tyrepower in Kirrawee.
Bob Jane quoted $350 ea but stated if I got a better price they would match it and take a further 10% off the difference between their price and the best price I had.
I'm very happy with the the last set of BFG's which I bought back in Feb 2009 and have now got about 75K on them and could possibly get another 10 out of, but I wanted new rubber for the upcoming GTG, so time to smoke up the Visa card again.2014 Black GXL D4D Auto with a few add ons.Comment

Hey Dobbo, I too was very happy with the BFG's. Excellent wear , having said that I do rotate mine reguarly. Have done a bit over 44,000 km and I would say that they are not half worn yet.
Except a few tyres have entire lugs coming away as well as the chipping.

No Rev, just a bit of chipping that you'd expect with travelling the sorts of places I've driven with them.
They've been through the last 3 GTG's as well as a number of trips about the place and rocky hills worse than what we had at LCMP and not let me down. I paid $284.00 a tyre last time round, cant get anywhere near that this time.

$450 per tyre in kalgoorlie, and they'll fit and balance for free. Daylight robbery. Anyway, my car now has brand new tyres but no engine.Dave
