Hi,
I had a wheel alignment done today as was told there's no more adjustment available for caster adjustment after I complained of a light steering wheel and tendency to follow grooves in the road and turn into dips at low speed.
Looking under the front control arms, the passengers side arm is adjusted to full outward extension on the rear bush and 90 degrees less on the front bush. When I look at the drivers side the front and rear bushes seem to be centred. The castor setting is 1 degree, 45 minutes on both sides.
Why would one side be adjusted further away from the chassis?
I have a 30mm lift on the rear and 20mm on the front. The rear lift pulls the axle and rear wheels towards the drivers side. I would have thought the front would be pulled across to line up with the rear.
