The problem is the switch heads have been moulded poorly meaning the are not centrally located on the switch body. This results in the switch getting fouled as you press it in and can cause great embarrassment when you cant turn your LEDs off....

They are a great idea but i think they need a bit more refinement....or quality control...
Which ones are you referring to?

I'm just about to order some New Pro switches. No point if they are a bit dodgy.

I thought the same - just bear in mind though, most of the green switches I have seen in mining Prados and the one I got from NewPro-Tech are much brighter green than factory, so trying to keep factory look is basically impossible.

I have a NewPro-Tech spotlight switch and fitment is fine. No fouling, not that I have really had to use it all that much, its only really fitted to comply with road regs.....

Just a thought Retroenduro, if your LED are used as spotlights you should have them wired thru the High beam switch, meaning they would extinguish upon dimming to Lo-beam?

Haven't had any issues with the NewPro-Tech switches, other than a very, very slight colour difference if you wanted to get picky about it.

Hey guys, AirOnBoard (Ebay page: http://stores.ebay.com.au/air-on-boa...=p4634.c0.m322 ) have a bunch of switches now, all different types, the build quality is okay, the plastic colour is slightly off compared to factory, as is the LED colour.

Try Air On Board on eBay. A nice bloke that will look after you if you do get a dodgy switch. Ask for a green back lit unit. Comes with a loom and will fit in an empty knockout.

                    Fitted these up yesterday.

Easy fit and look the part.

They lighting is a bit greener and brighter than the factory switches but makes them easier to see in that position anyway.

I think here (as per a few posts earlier): http://stores.ebay.com.au/air-on-boa...=p4634.c0.m322

Are these new? I swear I didn't see them a few weeks ago when searching for some 150 Series switches!

Do Toyota sell the switches too? Are they prohibitively expensive?

Toyota won't sell you the ones with the custom engraved text because they don't have them.

No idea, sorry. Doubt that they would stock blank ones.
