150 Bullbar pictures thread..

OK thanks, that's about the same as I spent putting the steel bar on the 90 (not including my spotties though). Had a look at a used 150 Kakadu today it has a black TJM bar on it that looked pretty good with the silver bodywork and black rims.

ETA: Pretty sure the bar was a T13 from the pics here, it had the sensors in it too.

T13 is a nice bar and generally cheaper than the ARB equivilant.

May I ask what it set you back (incl fitting)? I have an ARB steel winch bar on my 90 VX which I had color coded to the vehicle, think it has the same spotties on it too. I'm thinking of buying a 150 GXL and kitting it up but would like an idea of cost first.

They are good at stopping roos, but for many of us that us just not enough. Front ground clearance and mounting of winches are a couple of areas where they just don’t help (IMO). I suppose it depends on your needs. If you are staying on the road and doing a lot of outback miles they would be a good product to consider.

Ha, lmao. Our work vehicle is the same but not at Harts Range. I am lucky enough not to have tried out our smart bar on roos or anything else but I know we have a winch on it and have used it plenty of times recovering others and it works.
As for miles, we do about 5000 or 6000, mainly off road, kilometres about every month without any dramas with clearance.
I wouldn't have one on my car because I dont like the look of them but each to their own.
