Finally got around to color coding my bullbar. Very happy with result..
Has changed the look of the car quite a bit, such that the bullbar no longer looks like a last minute add on..

Does anyone have 2018 shape prado with the Toyota polished alloy bull bar ? Or the black alloy bar ? I would like to see as I was considering these or should I just go for a aftermarket steel bar? If so do I need to change the suspension for the weight ??

A bit late but.....They're a much larger bar compared to the Deluxe which is not being made for the updated front end. I was at ARB this afternoon and the Summit looked chunkier. I prefer the Deluxe but not an option for me unfortunately.

I too am concerned with the potential shadows from the ARB bar. I have not seen one in the flesh as yet either. They appear similar to the the Toyota bull bar in design with the vertical bars so I guess time will tell.

Maybe make it kmown from the dealer that that you won’t be accepting crap install with large gaps. Sure there needs to be some gaps due to movement but excessive or uneven gaps is just poor installing.

Ive got one on order but may not be here until late May... still plenty of time to look around and pick which driving lights I’m going with.

I guess you have to trust the design of ARB, apparently they have tested the bar and features so time will tell if it is like that in the real world?

Not a major concern, just never seen one in the flesh (on the 2018), and have seen some comments on the web knocking the fitment (gaps and so on - Maybe it depends how good the guy is who cuts your bumper!).
I went down to my local ARB in the hopes to have a look at one, but they had not done one yet when I visited a few weeks back.
My other concern was that there might be shadows from the vertical centre bars with the prado's inside/centred low beams.

    Hey all,
Anyone got a 2018 with bullbat to show off for us?
I'm thinking about the ARB bar, but not sure on the fit.

If you have a 2018 with a Bar, lets have a look see!

Had an ECB polished alloy bar on the 2011 VX. Got me through a few sticky situations so I decided to go again with the 2017 VX.
Rang ECB and told them i was coming through Brisbane after a trip north. They said they would not have a polished bar ready on that day but had a black ripple winch bar ready due to an unfilled order. They made an offer I couldn't refuse so I booked it in to be fitted.
Arrived at 11am for 3 &1/2 hour fitting but contracted fitter not there. Waited till after 12 and still not arrived. Did not want to fight the late afternoon traffic out of Brisbane so I got them to fork it on the roof rack and brought it home.
Checked out the instructions and decided to do it myself. Eight hours later the cold beer was very satisfying.
Instruction were just OK but had to get them to email clearer large scale photos to see where some parts went.
Biggest problem was two bolts side by side through three brackets, second hole did not line up and had to be redrilled.
Few other issues; like suggested hole size drilled though crash can was not large enough.

Very happy with the outcome. Might put a winch in one day.
