Hi bdee, did you get the Lowline from Toyota? This is exactly what I want for my 150 GXL but was advised by my local Toyota dealer this wasn't possible. Any info would be appreciated.
    Cheers

not sure I agree completely, how do they not help with winches?
You can fit a winch to a smartbar, there is a winch option available for the Prado.

When it comes to front ground clearance, you really need to check all bars, many will actually make it worse. ARB are a known offender in this area.

They are good at stopping roos, but for many of us that us just not enough. Front ground clearance and mounting of winches are a couple of areas where they just don’t help (IMO). I suppose it depends on your needs. If you are staying on the road and doing a lot of outback miles they would be a good product to consider.

I think they would be 100% practical and well...smart, BUT I just dont like the look of them. If I did alot of country driving I would put function ahead of looks for sure but if I didn't NEED one as such I wouldn't have one.

From one source I have heard that ARB are not even looking at them yet, from the web I have found an ARB editorial which states they are currently being worked on and that was in Autumn 2010.
If it is yours, is it genuine or was the sticker added later?
    Thanks

I have had the ARB sidebars since 2010. What they did not make was sidebars that integrate into sidesteps like what is now available from TJM.
