    Re: ECB Bullbar

Hmmm - I reckon people on here could design a more attractive bar than that.

Looks like someone's stuck a false moustache and beard on it.

I reckon if the new ARB bar is designed like the current Prado one, but more angled at tha sides and and comes right up under the headlights, it'll be a winner.
    Cheers, Wayne

      Re: ECB Bullbar

I'd be suprised if we see many of those around.
It looks like a bar from some other vehice stuck on the front of something it is not designed for.
I hope they go back to the drawing board

That is the most ugly bar I have ever laid eyes on.

The mining mobs here are starting to turn over their fleet with the mass rental company leased 150s all rolling out and obviously without bullbars for the first time.

Q: How do you take the most over priced 4WD on the market and devalue it?

          A: Add an ECB bar.

That is the uglist accessory I have seen on any vehicle............ever!

Just seen this thread and thought the original pics looked suspicious.
So I went to their web site and there they were

If you look on ECB website the nudge bars are there also,.. and IMHO the Nudge bars look O.K.
I just feel sorry for the person who has to drive round with it hang'n off the front end.
Take a look on the ECB website for more pics

              Re: ECB Bullbar

I'd love to know what ARB are going to come up with. I would think it is a much more difficult proposition than what the 120 was to design something decent due to the design of the bumper and headlights on the new model. One things for sure, I won't be driving around with the ECB bar on the front of my new car!

                Re: ECB Bullbar

Let's not be too critical of the bar's looks.

A lot of thought has obviously gone into it... it's going to offer a lot of protection to the vehicle...

What other bar could make a roo stop dead in its tracks and vomit?

                  Bullbar for the 150 series

Just wondering if anyone has seen any photos of what the Bullbar options are available for the 150 series, factory or aftermarket? The only photo's I've found online are for ECB (see pic below), which I must admit I'm not a big fan of. It almost looks too wide and as if it was meant for another vehicle (in my view anyway)

Re: Bullbar for the 150 series

Just got off the phone with Tjm. Their range of accessories will be officially launched in April but parts will be available before then. Battery trays are already available and bar isn't too far away. A vehicle has also been fitted with a snorkel and undergoing testing.
Arb said bullbar development was underway for a late Jan release or so the guy told me.

Re: Bullbar for the 150 series

I get my brand new Prado on the 19th of February....the dealer "sweetened" the deal with a free Alloy Bar at no extra cost (after I had negotiated a pretty good deal I thought)...he said it will either a TJM or an ARB...whoever has the first one on the market. I assume if they are not ready I'll have to run it back for fitting after that!! Boy I hope it doesn't look like this one as that is pretty awful!!

Re: Bullbar for the 150 series

It appears from the pics of both the ECB and the Ironman bull bar that the design of the front bumper means that the bull bars fit over the top of, instead of replacing, the front bumper. Does anyone know if that's correct?

Well the Ironman bar definitely looks better than the ECB.

Is it just me, or does the old design engineer now work for Ironman?

Looks to me like the Ironman bar has been cut in as there is a trim on the end.
