I've put in 2 claims with Scifleet Toyota Kedron (Brisbane) and they are refusing to upgrade my mudflaps as they said said the bumper has not got enough damage to warrant changing.
The Irish logic they are using is that only when the bumper bar is severly enough damaged will they put the longer flaps on.
I couldn't be arsed fighting them on this but I will be turning this car over every 3-4 years for the next 25 years and and hence will spend ~$400k on new Prados or LC's and Scifleet will never see another $ of mine.
BTW this isn't the only issue I have had with Scifleet and I suspect it won't be the last whilst I have my fixed price servicing.
I have a colleague with a Prado from Motorama who are replacing his MF's this Friday - they didn't even need to see his car to approve the work.

I had no issues either. I have been discussing this with the service manager since I became aware here on the forum about the problem and he has been trying to get the flaps ever since. He also approved the fixing of the bumper without any problem. I must say that the service I have had from Howdens Toyota so far has been exceptional.

I also had a similar comment via email from the guys at Torque Toyota at Strathpine.... They were quoting straight from the Toyota Bulletin..... I then went down to talk to them personally and they have now placed and order for me for the new Mudflaps.... They agreed after I mentioned that guys from this website are getting them replaced no worries..... I then went on to mention / name the local Dealerships within the Brisbane area that are replacing them w/o seeing the damage, etc ...... Try a different dealership

I'm happy to confirm that Scifleet are now replacing under warranty after some toing and froing with them. On balance I'm happy with the result though it took some argy-bargy to resolve. Thanks Liam (Service Manager).

I got mine replaced today. They must have received a box of silver ones because there where about four silver prados in the parking lot with longer flaps on. The colour matching on the rears is terrible!!!
Took mine in today (UK) - they were the wrong ones - Hilux ones without the 'elbow' panel to fill the hole left when the old ones are removed ........
Interestingly there was a brand new Land Cruiser awaiting collection with the new longer flaps on the forecourt - when the old mudflap (which had already been removed) was compared to the 'new' flap on the new car it was noticeable that the 'elbow' panel (or whatever the proper name is) is significantly shorter on the new model - so those ones don't look as they would fit anyhow.... argghh! -
I've asked my dealer to have another go at tracking the replacements for my version as you guys with early 150s seemed to have managed it? Mines an October 2009 Lc4 (VX).
Currently waiting at the dealership for my new mudflaps to be installed. Woohoo... Can't wait.. This has taken >2 months of constant calls and arguments to the dealership. The end result is sweet...
Had mine replaced at the local toyota dealer, ordered about a month ago and replaced them when the car went in for service. No hassles and they match perfectly.

Got mudflaps replaced finally with updated ones.... even using it around town, the crap that flicks up as high as the reflective brake lights is excessive.
Well .... my dealer says it has now ordered 6 flaps - two for the front and four for the rear as the rear comes 'painted' and the front don't - is that right they asked me?! - and the two rear ones come in different sizes - thats odd they say.
What can I say ...... I know the two rear 'painted' flaps come in different sizes. The latest release 150 has different sizes .... I'm struggling to explain this to your good selves ... so you can imagine how impossible it is to explain it to a non mechanical parts person.... so I'm not holding my breath they've got it right.

Are you still getting "stuff" on the back quarters with the new mudflaps? The dealer has rung me twice now to do the swapover but if they still aren't right I'll be leaving my Gravel Rush ones on.
See ya on the tracks, Richo
