  • Where is the Intermittent Wiper Timer Relay?

    Hi Pradopointers,

Trying to find where is the Intermittent Wiper Timer Relay. The delay selection on the wiper switch on my Kakadu like prado (European Left sided 2012) isn't changing the tempo of the front wiper. What ever the selection via the rotative nob, there isn't any delay.
    What is the part number?
The speed selection (low, medium and fast) works but when it rains a little the low speed is already too fast.

    TX,

    JMC

PS: First post ever here. Love the site, this is my night reading since the acquisition of the LC150

In the 120 I think from memory it is located behind the fuse box, might be the same for the 150?

Think you'll find it is handled by the body ecu, as a suggestion maybe the switch is faulty?

Thanks for your answers so far.

I also think this is part of the ECU and related to the Rain Sensor mechanism which isn't working since the windshield replacement.
Will investigate if they forgot to put back the detection gel (Tape Rain Sensor).
My (new) understanding is that the selector act on the rain sensor sensibility and not just on the wiper timing itself.
