Have done almost 7000 km getting to, during and from the GTG, with about another 2000 km to go before I get home. Most of this towing the camper trailer, which is why I had a Chipit chip installed.

Extremely happy with the chip, not one problem at all.
It was given a very good work out on most of this trip, especially towing the camper down the Border track.

    Very good product Robert, thankyou.

    Cheers

Will I have some good news.

We liked the first so much ... if you will do another write up for an EGT Controller install on You Tube, I will send one out free of charge.

Could you just place a BIG "X" on the Earth Strap area of the first install and bring attention to the battery connection. Dont know if its easier to re - do that portion ???

In any case, regardless, just tell me if you are keen on this

    Cheers

    Robert

If the product you purchased connects to the rail sensor (you can ask the company you purchased that one from) then the one I suspect is problematic is the common rail sensor. This is the spare one I have.

Judging by your track record Diesel Smart you are just "curious" to see how you can further your BS'ing to the uninformed.

Like the crap on the front page of your webpage saying "don't buy a chip ... buy a module" or stuff like ... Don't increase the rail pressure, the engine will be destroyed. Just BS.

If you need to find out info, you can easily do this yourself since you sell rail chips (as you have previously stated)

    I'm curious Robert,

when you guys install pressure relief valves into the rail, what pressure can the rail run before the engine light is tricked?

After numerous chips, one type plug and play another type was soldiered into my injector wiring at the CPU behind the glove box (all the same brand though), I would always get the same problem. I was just wondering on your take of the whole situation. Could this really be a bung sensor or a handball excuse from the company? Is it possible for the chips themselves to cause this issue, as it never happened before I installed any chip?

    Cheers.
    Hibbo,
This was exactly what mine was doing with the previously chip and that is the reason why I changed to the Chip it unit.
That being said , I am not one to leave things alone and had to put it up a couple of tunes and every now and then it faults.
Mainly happens when my wife drives the car, hard on the gas and then off all of a sudden.
Talked to Robert and got some helpful advice .

Worse thing is you can not buy the pressure relief valve seperate from the fuel rail and the whole thing is $1250-1500 to buy

that's correct. And that's why we offer the industry's best warranty. You hear of some having issues of course. But you may never hear of the majority that are over the moon with the products.

Funny that you never hear of anyone that HAS actually done business with us saying to be wary of us. Just guys with keyboards and a lot of spare time. If a few, (very few), have issues we stand behind the product 100% and help at every turn ... just ask those that HAVE dealt with us.

Remember too, no matter what anyone else in the industry says, before Chip It hit the street, the industry was over priced ($1700 per fuel only Chip), never heard of EGT Controlled Performance Chips/Modules, was not offering long warranty.

Note also that we MAKE OUR OWN stuff. It is home grown. We are not riding on the back of some overseas company like every one else. We are not sending YOUR funds over to Europe or China.

Are we perfect? No. Never will be. We stuff up just like you do. But we will never lie to make a buck like many do and always will because they need to shoot down the opposition with BS to make their product look good. And we don't leave customers thinking what a crap company and a crap product they have.

Have to agree. Why anyone would buy Chipit after all the documented issues I'll never know. Buyer beware I guess.
