My light came on at 49000k the other day and the dealer charged $110 for filter.
Received the same story from Toyota that this is not a service item.
I do not accept that it is OK for Toyota to NOT replace these as a scheduled service item. It seems every 30 or 40k is necessary - especially given the hand grenade reputation the D4Ds have earned (going by Pradopoint owners comments).
If we have to pay an extra $110 every other service that's much better than paying the $9000 for short motor mentioned in the Injector thread.
