Also, if the car is serviced by toyota, when they plug in the diagnostic equipment or do updates or whatever it is they do, will the overwrite the new tune and return to factory settings?
Cheers,
longevity comes down to the tuner best be cautious
your dealer can’t see if it had been tuned, they can hook up tech steam and live view, they can see values higher than normal but they can’t prove it is Tuned

Hi, I know this is as old as hell now this post re exhaust etc however I just wanted to point out something VERY important.
You are looking at the wrong side of the page (as most do) and have missed the incredible gain the exhaust made to the torque right down low in the RPM right where you want it. It's pointless revving these engines above their peak torque point in RPM and the lower the RPM you can make an improvement the better. This is what you'll FEEL.
Also, a test with and without the exhaust tuned both times, would have given the exhaust a better chance at proving itself.
Lastly, the starting RPM point should always be the same. Exactly the same. In these images it's almost as if the tuner was trying to hide how good the exhaust was at low RPM, the graph lines show different start points and are a poor representation of the true low RPM result IMHO.
I know it's worth my while after looking at this, to fit an exhaust.
Thanks.
