I can report that the Main tank reading started dropping from 83L about on cue with respect to teh Toyota gauge and the Scangauge LTE which is good news. I am guessing that the rapid drop in sub-tank reading may have something to do with the slight slope of my driveway. I will have to check it out again when I fill up next.

    Thanks for the help.

My thanks to ExNissan and Co on the FurtunerForum for the original CAN bus sleuthing work. It must have taken endless hours.

I also have Techstream up and running now so when I get up to speed I'll buy a bus sniffer and hunt down some more useful Toyota Prado codes.
Thats on next years to-do list.

The fuel sender has hard upper and lower limits. It won't reach the very top and bottom of the fuel tank. It is a guide.
