As a result I aslo reckon there may be a fuel saving if S mode is used in city driving (no auto engine breaking of course). It's a bit hard for me as my wife refuses to use S but I reckon I could be on to something.2010 150 Glacier White GXL D4D Auto

G'day Gents, just spent the past 30 mins reading through your posts. Great info and discussions... general people making a difference and solving problems. On the problem solving, could someone please send me the TSN/TSB number required to have this flat spot resolved through a dealer. Much appreciation

Riv,
thanks for the TSB. i've had mine updated thursday together with the 12mth service and took it for a drive Sunday. no more hesitation now. i drove only on D. i started with 14ltr /100, after the drive (approx. 200 kms) it returned 10.2ltrs / 100. this is from the trip computer. perhaps the service has something to do with the improved economy. guess i'll have to run it at least a tank full and calculate again.
cheers,

Hi guys,
Could I please have the TSB number as I've got my Prado booked in tomorrow for new mudflaps and might as well get them to update the auto box at the same time.
Many thanks,

So just drive and enjoy the new car, you'll pick up the hesitation if it exists fairly easily.Last edited by Riv39; 05-11-2011, 10:31 PM.2010 150 Glacier White GXL D4D Auto

The only thing I noticed that it loves to drop to 1500rpm @ 80km/h.....not sure which gear that is must be 5th?
Anyway, it seems a very low rpm & you get the feeling that its labouring just a bit....
Can Toyota check if a particular car has had a TSB applied?

"We so far so good" On delivery I had asked the dealer about the hesitation issue no one had heared about it, the answer was if there is any problems tell the mechanics on the 1000km check and they will look up this issue, Anyway completley different drive experience than my 120 series, taking a bit to get use to the revs dropping right back and 5th being used alot, this is where I expect the good full ecconomy comes from, yes there is a little labouring here and there but all something to get used to, it very quiet for a diesel wife has no problems going from petrol top diesel, finally now its in the garage I'm getting used to the shape.
