    2 month old 150 goes up in flames.

    A mate of mine rang tonight to tell me of a 150 that went up in flames today.


    Apparently the driver had all th warning lights go on on the dash, As soon as he pulled over the horn started and upon getting outof the car he noticed smoke coming from under the bonnet and the rest is history.

    The bloke whose car it was is the x of my mate's new partner and they apparently get on all right (you know what I mean) so if I find out more I'll addd it to this post.

    oh wow. lucky no one was injured. i'm interested to know what caused it.

        Could also have been a number of aftermarket wiring jobs gone bad ?

          There were driving lights on it so maybe that is a possibility. It will be interesting to hear of the final outcome.

                  Not saying this would've made any difference... But just wondering if anyone had a fire extinguisher?

                  Sure be interested to hear the cause. Hope the insurance covers it, whatever the fault.

                      To be burning like that, and it seems under the car and in front of
                      the car one would think possibly a fuel fire?

                        why wouldnt insurance cover it ? its clearly damaged.... whos fault is the big question... again its better that no one was in the car and that the prado can be replaced !!!

                          Simply because not every insurance policy is the same, and also because not everyone takes out top level insurance. I hope this is not the case in this example, and glad that no-one appears to have been injured.
