Warranty work .... what have you had done?

    Warranty work thus far on my 150 (April 2010 delivery) 32k on the clock ATM and not in any particular order:

    Replaced front center armrest - deformed on delivery
    Replaced plastic moulding under wipers - 1500rpm vibration issue
    Replaced ruber moulding on drivers side where windscreen meets front guard and pillar - 1500rpm vibration issue
    Regreased tail shaft six times - tail shaft clunk issue
    Replaced tail shaft - tail shaft clunk issue
    Replaced intank fuel pump - screaming its head off after approx 15k on the clock
    Replaced radiator plastic coolant tank - leaked from new
    Reflash transmission software - 2400rpm flat spot issue
    Replace front and rear mudflaps - mudflap design problem

      wow, sorry to read your issues riv39, I wonder if your Prado was assembled in Bangalore...apparently some are assembled in India...not anything against that per se, but they do not have a long history of quality motor vehicle assembley as some other nations.

      The real test however is how easily, quickly and politely any issues are rectified...I hope you didn't have to battle the dealer to get things fixed. I can't even get the mudflaps replaced unless I can demonstrate stone damage on the paintwork.

        Dont think you will have any issuea with the 150's air Yowie, havnt heard one complaint about them yet so thats a good sign lol.......Cheers Steve

          CHT have been quite good thus far. I find that calm persistence is what is required, loosing your cool does not help IMO. Unfortunately I have seen a couple of good service reps leave over the last couple of years but the service manager seems a good bloke. Interesting to see how they handle my next service when I ask them to look at the oil pickup as it is a fixed price service. Hopefully they will not charge me extra for a few minutes work.
