    Expanding Company
    Great Team
    Secure Position
ARB Corporation Limited is seeking an enthusiastic 4x4 Accessories Fitter to join the Kilsyth team. This position will require you to fit ARB parts and accessories to 4WD vehicles (to the best of your ability as training is scarce )

Applicants will possess good mechanical skills and have a sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles, auto electrics (only knowledge required as meh its only electricity anyone can do it lets put solder on a crimp joint) and possess a current driver’s licence.

Whilst a motor mechanic qualification is desired, a strong mechanical background is acceptable. Preferably you will have some 4x4 experience(must be a nissan driver and go out every weekend to get your patrol bogged ) and the drive and determination to learn and grow within a thriving company.

Remuneration for this role will be based on qualifications and experience with ARB offering a significant employee discount within our retail store.

If you have excellent mechanical aptitude and a passion for four wheel driving this is the position for you(or if safeway fired you as a trolley boy )

Have to agree with the poor service from ARB Kilsyth. They wont be getting my business any more. I like their products but will get them fitted by other 4wd places that provide customer service and put a bit of care into their work.

Had the ARB deluxe bar fitted with the foglights. Not long after had to get the wiring redone. Also asked them to fit a winch (Tigerz11) and they put the gears in facing backwards. This simply shows they don't give a stuff.

And I am happy to tell anyone I know not to go to them and to consider alternatives. I don't even bother dropping into their stands at any of the shows.

Well what a f*** up! The list goes on.

So I get a call this morning after dropping the car off Monday ( although not booked until today ) and I'm advised that the front diff lock has an air leak, the front LHS axel boot is leaking oil everywhere and so is the RHS, the trailer plug fitted wasn't tested and it was hinted that it was my fault for connecting something that didnt have good wiring which caused it to blow something in the ECU ( considering the camper trailer I went to pick up is brand new and worked on everything else )! The rear diff had oil in the air lines as its building up back pressure? And no one could explain why.

After all that being discussed the car should be ready this afternoon but call before you come. No worries so I call up and was advised that it would be done by the afternoon 4.30 to 5 ish so I organise a lift and to finish early to find out its not ready and won't be ready until tomorrow night!!!! Bloody could of killed someone and I cracked it and stormed out.

( back story ) when we went through the list of things this morning I was adobes that to install and now fix the front diff problem you only have to take out one side of the axel NOT both do they wouldn't cover the RHS under warranty that would be a Toyota problem but it should be attended to straight away as it is going away next week. The problem could cause some damage!

I ring Toyota to book it in before next week ( knowing I'm pushing shit up hill ). I rang 5 local dealerships and get one that says we can do it tomorrow and Friday pending it is a warranty thing and ARB haven't touched it, but we need the car tonight before close of business. Yep no problems they have told me it will be ready and it's just down the road... Well obviously that never happened what are the f**king odds and I can't get in to Toyota until the 6th Aug meaning it's turned to shit again due to ARB stuffing people around and nothing getting done about it!

God I will be getting diff locks somewhere else regardless now and I think I'll be suggesting to anyone who is thinking of or going to ARB to think again

What a balls up mate. Think I'll stick to the elocker by the sounds of it, the air locker its self seems to be a good unit its the way its put in. I was speaking to diff specialist the other day as to wether he installs lockers or not, he did, was dearer then ARB but diffs is all he does so would presume the job would be fine ?? I havn't used the bloke before so not sure. Be cheaper for me to sell mine a and get a VX with traction control then don't have to worry about who is going to be touching my car.

No wonder your pissed, as I said in previous post, its us that has to stuff around taking time off work, organising some one to get us there, and they still F*** it up...............Feel for you..........Cheers Steve

I hate sh1t like that....such a waste of bloody time and hard earned $$$. You spend the money for Improvements and all these planned mods bring the excited child out in you hanging to try your new goodies but you end up so jacked off you feel like driving your car through the front of their shop.
I feel for you mate we've all been there done that you learn where NOT to take your car. Silly thing is there are a few other mods I want to do to my car but I'm not because I can't be arsed going through the whole rigmarole of dealing with poor company's. Funny thing is they sit around thinking its quite out there it's hard to make a living yet I'm waving my bundle of cash but can't find a company worthy of giving it too.....sad really

                Rant over

Will they be reimbursing you for the number of problems that they have caused?
I'd be giving them an invoice for the cost of a loan car.

Let's face it though hasn't everyone seen her boobs? Although I'm more than happy to have another look.

And it would make a good reality show I'd happily do it lol

Like Sam said previously, email ARB HO on [email protected] and vent your frustration. A few posts here should be cut and pasted to them by the OP.

ARB spend considerable effort in R&D, which is all undone by knuckle-dragging grease monkeys and they need to raise their game.
