You need the dealer to enable the remote windows to open/close.
Don't think the engine start is available as an option. Not in Australia anyway.Geoff

I gather the others are right about the remote start not being an option but I got the windows down/up feature enabled yesterday and it's pretty handy. With two little kids to get in the car and buckled in before I can even sit in the seat to think about starting it, being able to wind down all the windows on the way to the car is going to be great for us in summer. My dealer did it for free at the one month inspection.Comment

You can buy one of these and program stuff like this yourself. Plugs into the OBDII port and allows you to enable\disable a whole heap of features. in my travels i have discovered that those viper alarms or pretty much any aftermarket alarm system with remote start suits vehicles WITHOUT canbus. presumably the prado would have some sort of canbus infrastructure. do some research, maybe there's not, but by all means check it out first.Comment

I had windows and sunroof auto to remote done today. Yes seat belt alarms were an option, the start was listed but didn't appear that it could be changed on the Kakadu, not that I wanted it adjusted.
