Quick update ... bought a high km petrol Kakadu this afternoon.

High Klm, not such a thing they are good for 500000 at least..

Hutch- Prado 150 with some TJM Kit.

2009 ... Although it probably wouldn't be too late to change my mind for a 2010 with 175,000km (an extra 25,000kms) and save $1k or so.

(the dealer had x2 in stock)

Not sure the $1K saving is worth it for the extra year and Ks, don't think much changed in a year. Do you know if either had both radar cruise control and the off-road pack? Can't recall when that changed. My 2009 hasn't even done 60,000K yet so is barely run in, I only have the off road pack.

For me, 25,000kms is about 2 yrs of driving so I don't think the saving is worthwhile. Neither had radar cruise. What is the off-road pack? I thought there was only a cruise pack?

I have the extra diff lock and crawl control plus MTM. Cruise pack had the radar cruise control but loses the extra diff lock IIRC. Not sure when it changed but at one stage you could have either but not both, was later changed so you got both by defalut.

Hmm .. lazy I guess. The 175,000kms does not have the alloy bullbar.

It wasn't back in 2009 or 2010, you had to choose the off road pack to get it.

Crawl is buttons, not a dial. The dial is for your L4/H4 select. Crawl buttons look like this :-



Buttons are on the right of the panel, 4WD selector is the dial, diff lock buttons on left.

Is there a link to the dealer's pics that I missed? I can have a look for you.
