If you put an ARB bar on the front of the photos posted by FredMLC it would look almost the same as the 120 - from the front at least

The shape certainly looks like it is part of the 200 series and Kluger/RAV4 family - all car manufacturers seem to do this nowadays.

The commentary regarding a September launch remains correct. That is when the global product launch will happen. Vehicles are now in Australia and will start to be seen in September I suspect.

Product mix is still to be finalised for Australia as there are lots and lots of options globally but the final mix is pretty much done. Two models of three door will be available and they are yet to release what the high end model will be called but it will not be Grande. The technology available in the high spec models is fascinating and will challenge LC200 in many ways

Hi my Toyota dealer has said the The launch date is the 22nd of November There will be 4 model levels in the 5 door and there will be 2 model levels in the 2 door. The diesel and petrol engines are carrying over although the petrol will have more power and better fuel consumption. The specification levels are going up. For example all models will be coming with 7 airbags as standard, traction & vehicle stability control
and he has a bit more information Ihe can go through with me he has a dealer pre-launch kit but things are still subject to change

We saw some photos circulating recently of the brand new Toyota LandCruiser Prado slated for release in 2010.

Here's the latest offering from cyber space, with a Japanese brochure being leaked to the public including shots of the exterior and interior to the upgraded look Prado.

The refreshed 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been caught out again, this time thanks to a leaked Japanese-market brochure. As you can see, the facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, which is sold in the States as the Lexus GX, gets new sheetmetal all around featuring a restyled front fascia somewhat inspired from Toyota's latest creations like the Avensis along with new tail lamps, bumper and tail gate design at the rear and a smoother profile thanks to the redesigned fenders.

The scanned brochure also provides us with our first glimpse of the redesigned dashboard that boasts a new instrument panel with two deeply set gauges and a new center console with repositioned air vents. In addition, there's a new multifunction, four-spoke steering wheel while the interior trim has also been updated.

It was almost a given that the new model was going to look something like a cross-over between 200series and a Kluger.
Engine choices will be interesting to see?
I wonder if AUS version will still retain the long range tanks and the spare off the rear door?

Hang on the reason the Prado exists is because the Pajero brought mid sized competition onto a place Toyota didn't play in

Its going to be a soft roader, not for me

Why would the 200 series be tougher than a prado, it has just as much plastic and sits just as low, none of them are real great offroad without some mods??
