OK its a shame to see all the badmouthing going on. I am from CalOffroad and we do specialise in many top of the line kits for Prados FJs Hilux Nissan etc and we focus heavily on quality and customer service.
And we have some of the best quality springs shocks and struts that money can buy.
We have offered you your money back on many occasions and we are currently in the process of custom building your front struts to the length you requested. As we also mentioned we dont normaly run this length as it will cause other issues but as you requested that is what we will do.
we have many coils in the range and they do vary in rates and free heights. Please be aware that purchasing Bilstein and CalOffroad products are absolute top of the line and are developed by some very experienced engineers. We develope the Bilstein technology and have tested with the Toyota TRD engineers in Germany to make the lengths and ride suited for our Australian conditions.
We have many customers that email us with great stories on how good there ride is. If there are any issues or answers you need just drop us an email or give us a call

I'd seriously be contacting consumer affairs and asking for a full refund. And taking your business elsewhere to a reputable supplier that isn't going to shaft you.
Imagine how much fun you'll have if you attempt to get warranty!!

And to top it off - This is a responce I got from them yesterday after once again chasing the refund for bits returned that were not suitable...
""the girls did ask to refund it but i said to hold off until all parts are sorted as you may have freight and other charges""
No kidding - I have been paying out of my own pocket to send the crap they have sent me back so they can send me the right stuff and he still thinks he has the right to hold onto my money and even charge me more..... WTF seriously....

Yip - I do have a few plan's... just want to get the struts back in hopefully a state that they should have been in the first place. No intention on sending anything back at this point but as you say I will be putting together a nice solid case to reclaim all the cost's that I clearly shouldn't have and also somehow get them on notice for the way they have behaved and the fact that they are selling products for vehicles they have clearly not near enough experience and\or knowledge of.

I'd also be asking for a full refund and ask them to cover your costs incurred.
A reputable suspension shop would have your vehicle sorted within a day.

F@#*!! Wife just reminded me that it is the long weekend coming up and we had booked on the great ocean road to go away with the caravan..... Guess that idea is out of the window since the car is still in pieces in the garage thanks to this debacle.... :-( :-( Little ones not going to be to impressed...

Poor, poor service from Cal Offroad. Sorry to hear about your time and money wasting experience, i'm sure some good will come out of this, eventually.
Please post your review on the Facebook 120 forum and the Facebook 60 70 80 100 200 LC forum so more people know what to expect when dealing with them.

To much time and money spent on sending bits back to Cal and also having to get Struts taken apart (and will need to do same to get them re-assembled when returned) - not to mentioned they even after numerous emails and Phone follow ups they have still not refunded me for bits sent that I do not need, even after saying clearly to me on the phone that they are "Just getting to it"
Avoid at all costs Seriously..... And what is even worse is I have tried multiple avenues to get hold of the owner to discuss and perhaps give him an opportunity to review things based on my experiance on their side to offer better service to future customers but to no avail...

What a nightmare, Zero. How much time have you spent on fitting/unfitting/phoning on this now? As a noob who has done a successful DIY suspension lift I can imagine your frustration right now. Hope it works out for you in the end. I would go for a full refund and start fresh. The lot you are working with don't seem to cut it.
