  • rack ends just not lasting

    Hi all

I have a 2" lifted KZN185 surf and I seem to be going through rack ends all the time. They will barely last more than 10K km. Tyres are balanced, rack is tight with no slop, new type guide bush installed. Do you guys with lifted prados have the same problem?

    Cheers

    Matt

Mine has 33's and lockers and is used very often, I've only had to replace tie rod ends 3 times so far (that's 3 total not 3 sets). Are you using aftermarket replacements? With items like these (steering & suspension) I find genuine is best.

Go Genuine or 555 Brand from Japan or MOOG from the USA only.
They are the only one's that will last long term.
