yeah, is a bit haha, but i find it stays a bit leveler when flexing though rough sections since the front moves so much easier,

Yes it would be better in general rough terrain.. but what about cross camber tracks? They already scare the crap out of me.. I wouldn't want it to tilt over any more.

              • hey Des,

they are a heavy duty ( +150kg i think) old man emu spring, but it is definetly more than 2 inchs high than it was...but it was probly sagging out a bit...300,000 kms on the factory stuff, only just managed to replace it haha.

and glen.... we have our moments :P there are plenty of hills around perth, just have to find the good ones

                • Here's one from the other day. Its nothing special compared to some of the custom suspension setups here (Draycon), but it's still better than the cruddy flex of the 120 series.

Things will be different when I build my 80 series tonka truck.

                  • just decided im going to extend my rear sway bar in the next few weeks, but turn them into a quick disconnect setup, and swap over to a shaft mounted bumpstop, to get the absolute max travels from the longer rear shocks. then ill get some more shots for everyone.

                    • finally got it flexed out properly, just posed on a rock. i think it was pretty close if not at its limit

decided i didnt need to do a rear sway bar extension or disconnect when it already flexs like this haha

                        • I'm running 80 series gear in the rear and have awesome flex as well but have the issue of the tailshaft hitting the subtank stone guard. Here is some pics of what I have done but am yet to test it properly

                              • The only real issue is tyre scrub on the inside of the wheel arch, but not bad. Everthing else looks ok for now.
did you ever have issues with your front driveshafts spiting out grease? As soon as i lifted it they spat grease everywhere, but boots not split, then I dropped the diff which was better but then the boots split cause they were hard. I ve had all boots replaced and cv's rebuilt but over the weekend I went for a run to Ingleburn and back down the M7 and they have leaked a little, the mechanic checked them today and said it was ok, not much grease came out though
