Hi,
I'm going to get a set of BFG's 265/75/16's please no responses pushing other tyres/sizes etc, my mind is made up at least on BFG's.
Has anyone got experience with either the muddies or the all-terrains? I'm not after opinions or what the tyre dealer told you, just what you've experienced.
I'm led to believe the new muddies wear as well as the all-terrains, have similar road noise and go better in the sand than the all-terrains. (Also backed up by recent 4WD Action comparo).
Do the muddies handle well on bitumen? My question mainly pertains to the fact that if the wear rate and on road handling/noise is comparable I would be more inclined to get the muddies to take advantage of the more extreme tread for off-roading.
Anyone read the recent 4WD Action tyre comparo and agree's/disagree's with the findings?
Thanks in advance.
