  • Richo I think it's asking a bit much of Trish to buy Andrew flowers after she does all her "chores"...

About half as many as would have done if I wasn't working on the kitchen

I have a Prado and a camper trailer, I wish I could go to my doghouse, out in the bush where there are no kitchens to finish!

As I am already in the doghouse so to speak, I bought Trish flowers for our aniversary a few years ago, when they arrived at her work she thought thats lovely, I wonder who bought me Flowers? So she looked at the card and saw they were from me and thought, why is Andrew sending me flowers? Then she read the card and the penny dropped...... Oh that right its our wedding anniversary.

Given that wasn't the first or the last time I remembered our anniversary and Trish forgot I have a fair few credits up my sleeve!

      Cheers Andrew

      • Now I think about it, we could get a kitchen renovator to sponsor the GTG, there seems to be enough interest from potential recipients.

        • I need a kitchen too... I've been cooking on a camp stove for 5 years now. My old kitchen is still sitting in the dining room. And the dining room is in the lounge room. And the lounge room is in the bedroom. Haha.

Loz wants a new kitchen!!! She's complaining that I started the kitchen reno 48 months ago and stopped 47 months ago... There are benches and an oven... A few doors are missing and there's a new sink...

              What more does she want?

              • I did a full kitchen Reno for my parents and it took about 10 months, mum was whinging at the time that it was taking too long but I think 10 months seems like some kind of record around here!

Loz, Lea and Lorna have all expressed there disgust at you and that litchen. You should be serving 3 consecutive life sentences to the doghouse!

Anyone want to see sparks fly at the GTG, just mention the kitchen in front of Lea. (Matty, wear a cage to protect the speshul man bits!)

                      • In my defence it hasn't just been the kitchen I have had to work on! It also involved removing the wall between kitchen and lounge, removing all the old plaster board including ceilings from, kitchen, lounge, hallway, and 2 bedrooms. Replacing all with new gyprock, putting in a bay window in the lounge, replacing old wooden windows with Aluminium. Rewire most of the house, and get all new floor coverings, curtains and furniture through most of the house.

Not bad for 20 months I reckon! And I squeezed in a few mods on the Playdo and am organizing the GTG!

Don't worry, Trish knows how good she's got it

                        Cheers Andrew

                              • Just wondering if there is an "offical" UHF channel that PP memebers use? With so many of us in the same area at the same time making our way to Bendleby the chances of spotting another PP memeber would be very high.
