2015 Altitude

I have just picked up my 2014 GXL (base price less than 60K ) and had the dealer add the full leather (aftermarket) that cost only $2700 for the 7 seats, door trims and console.

Very happy with purchase so far, just need to get the extras on now.

I too considered the Altitude, as it was similar in interior specifications to the just gone Kluger, but the lack of fuel capacity, and then the need to add a Kaymar bar and longranger tank far outweighed getting a stock GXL and fitting the extras.

Dealer here in Perth was/is offering an after market leather job on the GXL's for $2.6k (5 seats, $3.2k for 7 seats). It included the door trim and console etc. I liked it so much I almost took it. It looked and felt better than the synthetic leather that I had in the VX 200. That way you get the leather interior and the 150 litre fuel tank. This is who they outsourced it to;

Yes it is possible to get the seats done in Tassie for $3k I thought I would see how I went then look at getting them done. I guess the advantage if I got the dealer to organise that for me is that it is the same price and I don't have to be without a car while the seats get done. I wonder how long it takes them.

My GXL arrives at the dealer at the end of next week. Had to wait about 8 weeks from ordering.

Wow! Which state? and how much did you negotiate it down to? I had a quote for 62K this morning from a dealer in Adelaide, is that a good price?

Yep - in Adelaide. Got a few extras with it, but basically got the base car (without the accessories) for just under $60K drive away.

Thanks for the info, negotiated it down to 60k, but it's for a vehicle in stock (the colour I want) will your car made in 2015?

Does any one know if you can stream music via Bluetooth in the new Altitude? Its the biggest thing that bugs me about my 2012 Altitude.

Yes you can. Works fine with my Iphone 6+.

Such a nice car to drive and the deletion of the tyre from the back is perfect for me. Some may not like, some might not, but I like it. It's definetely a nice upgrade from our previous car.

I've attached some pics for you to see. The black rims with the black paint looks really, really nice

damn, looks good. Seeing a prado with no spare wheel on the back will take some getting used to (in a good way!)
