I went with White, but that was more to do with the wife's decisions. I think Silver and White tend to look "cleaner" for longer when dirty. Both don't show water marks after washing, and also don't require polishing to maintain their sheen as the glossy clear coat isn't as obvious as say black, navy etc. I'lol add a pic if I can figure out how too on my phone. Having said all that Graphite is my fav, but the missus didn't want another grey Prado as "it will be just like the old one"....

$63.5k for a white 2.8 diesel auto GXL.
Happy with that and very happy with the service I received from City Toyota.
They were very generous with their time and courteous with their follow ups.
No connection, just sayin'
Still undecided about splashing out on a silver one.
I would have signed the deal today but as I'm flying out tonight I just didn't get to it.
Any opinions silver v white?
In particular how does each colour scrub up after a weekend in the bush?

Not going to be an easy choice Dave.Originally posted by Prado_Dave View PostHopefully your choice will be the Prado, then it means you've vindicated my position!
And here you were pulling the PI55 out of me buying a new car and flying to little ol Bali...
Check out the Fortuner reviews I posted here.

Well Dave, the Fortuner is here on Monday.Originally posted by Prado_Dave View PostI'm sooo hanging for your final choice!
Hopefully I'll get to drive it before I fly off to the US on Wednesday.
The intention was to order whatever I chose so its ready by the time I get back.
But, I'm now so undecided that I doubt that will happen.
It's in my nature to research thoroughly before I buy anything.
But this time I think I've researched myself into pickle.

After reading the recent ute comparison, and because the Ranger was judged to be a fair bit better than the new Hilux, I went back for another look at the Everest.
It's a good car and price wise the Trend is about the same money as a GXL Prado.

Binb10, I was informed by three Brisbane dealers that there would be only a week wait at the most for a Diesel Auto GXL graphite grey.
Here is to hoping that is true.

Awaiting for the holy grail in Toyota Dealerships. Thanks

bwahaha! touche!Originally posted by Bushbasher View PostYou rarely see a Jeep in the outback. The last Jeep I saw in the outback was driven by the Leyland brothers. Most are pulling big on-road caravans and piddling along at 80km/hr driven by large retired Queenslanders. The other Jeeps you see are the lifted 2 door versions with oversize tyres and over size plastic wheel arches which always seem to be broken. They never go outback either, settling for cruising the latte strips and co-ed gyms of the big cities.

I think most of us have at least considered a dual cab at some point, and not just for their towing ability.Originally posted by juc33_prado View PostSorry neilaction, missed the obvious one!
I thought there were a few guys on PP considering the change to utes due to the 3.5t tow.

They are very practical and these days, quite fashionable.
We seem to have followed the Americans love of trucks.
