Was told there was a price rise in august, when i asked has anything in the car changed, the answer was nothing, just a price rise.
Not happy.

Paid $56400 in March with tow bar, reverse sensors and automatic. Drive away. Manual should be up to $2k cheaper.

Just signed the papers for a 2016 Kakadu with bonnet protector, towbar, weather shields, floor mats and fuel for $86,250 DA due delivery in a couple weeks (still on its way to Aus apparently)

How much is an arb bar installed? Call it 3k and your quote is 2k more than it should be, and u still dont have tint or sensors. I'd ask them to try harder.

Being quoted $67k for White gxl auto with arb bullbar, snorkel, mats, cargo mat, bonnet protector, tow bar and redarc tow pro elite in sydney.. Sounds good I hope!

Frankston Toyota is (or had at least) running a special on GXL. I got my Prado from them recently (but not a GXL).

Seems odd, I had a gxl 2012 auto and it does not compare in any way to the new 2.8 D auto
Power yes the same however the 6 speed auto is improved and the 2.8 is so refined and smoother there is no contest.
for me no regrets
each to their own I guess.

Add sensors and take off 500 for 61.5 and you have a good price from 4-5mths ago for a new March build car i.e. you can do better now. I found all dealers I asked (Albion, Southside and Moorooka) wanted to negotiate and after letting them fight each other chose one closest to me as I mentioned earlier in the thread. G'luck.
