Thanks for all the great info here. Ordered a 2016 GX manual white for 55k, including tow bar, rubber matts and rubber cargo liner. This was from a dealer in Perth.

I'll let others reply Rcj, as I am more familiar with the GX version this time, and not sure about Melbourne pricing.
Also, I personally prefer the "sand grabber" mats (vinyl, clip in easily over the top of both the floor carpet and the genuine carpet mats). I think this link will get you close to one site that sells them.

I have been looking and looking at bull bars, and various prices. I am going to get a TJM T15 steel bar myself, but many folk have other TJM bars or ARB bars etc. The genuine bar is alloy and quite expensive in comparison, but have a look at a few options and the forum thread on bull bars for the 150 Prado.
opps, sorry, I think you mentioned you were after a tow bar, not a bull bar...sorry.. anyway, have a think about a bull bar....the outback in places is lousy with Roos, and goats and pigs...only a couple of months ago the roads in places in western Queensland were littered with dead animals killed by cars and trucks, and many places had animals on the road edges eying to get some green pickings..and a roo strike can put a big downer on a holiday.

Thank you for the questions. I should have been specific. New Diesel and auto. preferably 2016 if they give good deal will go for 2015 too. Metalic colour. Heard tinting is cheaper doing outside showroom. Travelling to Brisbane and the top end with my boys is the dream. Please reply.

mmm, I presume new (or were you thinking 2nd hand?)
Diesel or Petrol
Auto or manual ( personally I would get auto)
White or a metalic colour? (I prefer white but some folk hate plain white)
(Don't forget you might want to think about window tinting as well, especially if thinking of travelling to the "sunshine state")
If new, then are you after a 2015 build or 2016 build?
Lots of questions I know, but all affect the price.
