I've purchased one of the first 2016 GXL build/plate Prado's off the line (12 Jan). Dealer has committed to a delivery date of mid to late Feb.2016 Toyota Prado GXL auto. ARB deluxe bar, Rock Armor side steps, 9in Penetrator LED spotties (30,000LM), Uniden 8060 UHF, Bilstein/Dobinson 2in lift, 265/70/17 Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's, Safari snorkel, Dual battery system, ARB onboard compressor, Custom rear false floor, Kaon bash plates, Ext. diff/gearbox breathers, Provent 200, Wynnum tow bar, Roadsafe tow points, Phillips crystalvision bulbs, tint, Rhino rack platform.Comment

I got my Jan 13 build in late Feb 13 so what the other guys have said sounds about right.

Yeh it really is a tuff decision.. But after much deliberation I decided to pay a little extra and get the 2016. Good choice, if you had bought the 15 plate one it would now be classed as a 1yo vehicle by the stealers. No matter how much BS they tell you about the build date not mattering when it's time to sell that's the first thing they drop the trade in price for. Dec 06 build Jan 07 compliance and delivery and it's classed as an 06 if I ever trade it in. No matter though, as long as you are happy with the price.Comment

D4D,
Have been advised that my 2016 build GXL will be ready for pick up on the 10h Feb. That includes time to fit the tow pack, Redarc Tow Pro, nudge bar and weather shields.
I have worked with the dealer for a few years now so pretty confident on the timing....Comment
