Gday everyone. New to Pradopoint so this is my first post as the topic caught my eye. Picked up my new Prado in April.

White Prado GXL Auto D4D
Full fuel tank
Toyota rubber mats x 4
Tow Bar
Highest legal tinting
5 x Bridgie D694's (changeover for the grandcraps)
Skipped the Toyota bull bar as it is ugly
CTP
Rego
Dealer costs

All up $60,240. I had a 2008 GXL D4D which was stolen. All up I am very happy with the current model but do miss my old GXL.

Am looking at taking advanyage of Toyota's 5.95% finance and end my current lease early to step into a Prado. I have my eye on a GXL manual T/D for $59k drive away. Is this a good price, as i wasnt really looking to do anything for another 5 or so months it has taken me by surprise a little and havent done the rounds of other dealers.

Sam I got a quote last week based on 7.95% with Toyota Finance. I think it is because I work for a company that runs a fleet of Toyotas. However when I was looking at second hand car for my wife as well, they quoted me around the 9% mark.

Jim, what dealership was that from. Just getting a few quotes and even with the fleet discount I am allowed, the price is up around 64k which seems a rip off compared to your price.

I'm about to sign a contract on a new 2010 Prado GXL Auto TD with options:-
+ "Street Legal" 65% tint
+ Toyota towbar + ball + 7pin small round
+ Toyota headlight and bonnet protectors
+ Toyota cloth mats
+ Toyota rubber cargo mat
+ Toyota metalic paint

It also includes:-
+ free loan car with all services for life
+ trade prices on parts for life
+ 24x7 breakdown assist
+ capped servicing for 3yrs. ~$220 per service.

The drive-away price is $62,000 in BNE.
I'd appreciate your view as to whether this is a "good deal" or not.

Sounds like a good deal.
We are also currently negotiating for a 2010 Prado GXL Auto TD in Brisbane. The best deal I have got so far for:
Metallic paint; Tow bar; Nudge bar; Roof rails; and Tinting is $63,500 drive away.
Would you mind letting us know what dealer you got your price from as I am having trouble getting lower than this.

$63k in Perth. :lol:
This was the very best i could do and four out of seven dealers didn't even want to talk to me about prices when they new i had quotes around the $64k mark for the base car. I think we pay higher stamp duty over here by all accounts.

I was going to get the dealer to put on the ARB bar and change to BFG AT's but i am then in the realms of added luxury car tax.

Just got a quote from a Brissy dealer, all this through my Novated Lease company mind you. Gonna take this price and see what others can knock off it

$64380 drive away.

driveaway $68,900 (or just under from memory) - got fleet discount (HUGE variance in pricing after shopping around)
going to add rubber mats all round and rear cargo barrier after purchase to avoid luxery tax in vic

also - mate at work paid $69k driveaway no accessories on t/d vx.
