Not sure if this is a bug but if I access Forum -> Community -> Albums I'm only seeing a single album where as last week there was a dozen odd albums I think. Does the album area only show albumns that have had recent activity? I know that MidLife Crisis has an album and if I go to his user then i can access his Album but I can not see it in the general Album list (as it only shows me my own Album).

Try:

Settings > General Settings (bottom left) > Thread Display Options > Default Thread Age Cut Off: Show All Threads

Nah that's not it XLR8 as I had changed that setting right at the start of this forum. Have you had a look at the Album list?

I solved my own problem, PP doesn't keep copies of Sent PMs by default anymore. There is an option under Settings > General Settings > Private Messaging to keep Sent Items, you just need to select it again.

When I visit Whats New?/New Posts link and there is say 15 or 20 threads that are showing new posts, after reading a couple I will return back to the New Posts page & a large percentage of the threads disappear (magically become "read" posts without me viewing them) I have checked that I have Default Thread Age cutoff set to "Show all Threads" in my Gen settings. this is annoying as it makes it very hard to keep up to date with all posts as they are being displayed as "no unread posts"...

Back again

Back again, the swap took away my ability to answer or post any threads.
Had a password problem weather changing my Email address was the reason who knows.
Makes me wonder how many others may be in the same situation??

Im still getting this too. I posted a query on page 1 that was explained to me but I didnt really understand the solution offered.
CraigM has explained problem a bit better than me, so hopefully can be explained or resolved if there is a fix

You are not loosing the posts. The "New Posts" link shows a listing of posts that have had activity against them since your last visit to the site. Each visit to the site is determined by time so if you access now then you might have a five minute or ten minute time before you are recognised as another visit. You may be accessing the site the whole time reading the various posts in the new posts area. When you refresh the "New Posts" and you have only read some of them then you are giving the list of posts that have changed since your last new visit commenced. This is working as a standard session that all user based websites utilise. The previkous forum just took a different approach to how the links where pulled back.

If you don't want to "loose" the list then read them all before you refresh.
