How about adding the ability to display an avatar picture below your user name?

This would obviously mean more server space though, unless it could be linked to an external personal picture/server.

Hey Paul,

I've activated those features. Check your profile settings. I'll need to install some default ones but for now you can link to offsite ones and upload one.

Hi Leonardo,

That is a good idea. The only concern is hard disk space and bandwidth.

Let's see how many other people request a gallery and see if it's a necessary addition.

BTW - ! moved your post on OME suspension to the Suspension area.

Hey guys.

If people are keen, a Gallery could be started and the pictures linked to external servers, like the pictures have been in the intro thread.

It just means that people need there own web space rather than using Aarons server.

Hi Dave,

The picture needs to be 80px X 80px.

Do you have a graphics program? If not download this one http://www.irfanview.com .

Open your image, go to image>resize/resample and set to a mximum size of 80 pixels.

Save it and then you should be able to upload it.

One thing I just noticed when I clicked on the View posts since last visit link on the home page.

It bought up 2 threads in the Electrical Section. One being in the 120 Series section and the other in the 90 series section. There is no way of telling which is which.

Maybe the Forum headings should be renamed to reflect this.

e.g.
General (120 Series) and General (90 Series).
Electrical (120 Series) and Electrical (90 Series).

Another section that might be usefull, is something for organising trips or get-togethers. Just an idea.

Here's another vote for "My Rig"

If you moderate it so each user can post their details and include a couple of photos that would be great! I love looking at other peoples set ups.

I guess this could also be done in a self contained thread in "General Discussion" as it is now if that is easier.
