    Hi all,

I have a pretty standard 150 series, just with an ARB Bullbar.

I really like roof tents, has anyone had any experience with them? What are the good brands?

Also for a lift kit, I want to go maybe 3 inches, who is the best for Aftermarket Prado stuff?

    Thanks Guys !

G'day every one been on the site for 6 months or so but with all the knowledge on here I haven't the need to ask any yet as you all have answered my questions already. I brought my prado in August last year and it was as stock as they come but I have slowly been chipping away at a fair list of mods.
    This is my Prado:

    Model: 2007
    Year: GX Turbo Diesel
    Colour: White
Accessories: TJM Bullbar, Warn Winch, LED light bar and lightforce Genisis lights(all I could afford at the time) Hayne and Reece tow bar, pioneer platform tray, dual battery system and a few other things that are in the shed awaiting to be put on.
Wishlist: suspension upgrade, air lockers, chip and exhurst. And what ever else I can find.

Haven't had it serviced yet. But it's due for its 170k service soon. The local Toyota dealer quoted over $80 for the Techstream check and printout. I think my VIN is amongst the injector seats due for recall. But how will Toyota let me know? Of course they haven't yet.

    [QUOTE=JLB-150;500213]Hi all,

Odered my new 150 a few weeks back, expect delivery at end of April... How dare I want a manual!

    Planned: Rear E Locker

Welcome JLB-150 to PP. Why don't you get on the forum and let us know why you have chosen an e-locker as part of your accessory line up. Those contemplating a locker (like myself) would like to hear your thoughts.

    Hi,

So I bought a used 2008 GXL turbo diesel over the new year. I'm sort of a 4x4 noob, so will be asking lots of questions.

    Model: GXL D4D turbo diesel
    Year: 2008 167,000kms
    Colour: white
Accessories: Toyota bullbar and towbar, spotties, dual batteries (I'm not sure what else came with the car; still trying to figure out switches and batteries, etc).
Wishlist: suspension/lift kit; better tyres (fatties?); drawers; fridge; snorkel; winch; seat covers; amp meter; in dash 4x4 GPS... (the works! would love advice on priorities to get).

Managed to get it covered in salty mud soon after I got it. While washing started worrying about rust.

Read too much about injector problems with D4D diesels AFTER I bought mine and started worrying about THAT too... It runs fine and not blowing smoke though.
