Nice Mopars, personally I prefer the earlier ones though, always wanted an S or R series, even know where one is I could buy but the Missus thinks I already have enough toys

    Cheers Andrew

Welcome Laxy. It may be the wrong forum, but I wouldn't mind seeing photos of the Chargers & hardtop.

    Hi all,

Another newbie that has used this site as a great resource to assist in buying a new Prado, took delivery last night so feel I can finally join.

A quick intro, the name's Andrew, I'm 32, a car nut and have a '71 Valiant hardtop, '74 Valiant Charger and a '68 Dodge Charger. Growing up I had a full blown obsession with Land Rovers and 4x4s in general, which made way for the Chrysler obsession for the last 15 years. Stoked to have finally have the chance to get right back into the 4x4 scene.

Scored a new 2014 plated white GX Prado with the 6-speed after many months of looking at overpriced secondhand ex-fleet cars (not much privately owned stuff to choose from when you just want a GX). Buying new was only a few $k more.

Have spent the last couple of years looking at base model 100 series Cruisers but came to realise the 150 Prado really ticks all the boxes, looking forward to getting up north on some big road trips. Have not posted a pic as it looks like every other white GX Prado out there currently!

    G'day all!

Thought I'd best join up after the weeks of research and invaluable information this site has given me. Just awaiting delivery of our Silver '15 GXL and getting bloody impatient particularly with the 4x4 and Caravan show in this weekend (credit card will be smoking by the end of it no doubt). Out of the show room, she'll have genuine tow bar, full rubber mats including cargo, tint and a snorkle. For the rest of the stuff, there'll be a build thread for sure.

I swear, every hobby seems to get more expensive and forums are no help with that. (getting sideways looks from the MFWAF across the couch as we speak). But on the other hand....

    Hi Guys, new here.

Just picked up this week an 2014 150 series in Graphite. It currently has some genuine Toyota Canvas seat covers, floor mats and a rear cargo mat.

I've ordered a colour coded ARB deluxe bar for it and the new UHF and ariel are sitting here ready to be installed after its fitted.

Plans are to do a small lift, bigger AT tyres, winch, spotties and all the usual fit-out stuff ready to take the family touring around this country of ours.

I'm an ex-Toyota mechanic and current diesel mechanic working on AG stuff and I fell in love with the 150 series when it was released, so it was a no brainer when it came time to get a new car. My other 4x4 is a 92 HDJ80 which I've spent a fortune on. I rebuilt the motor and gearbox, fitted a bigger turbo, top mount intercooler, diff locks front and rear, 2 inch lift, 33" tyres, duel batteries, sliders etc. My next big mission is trying to find an excuse for the missus so I don't have to sell it!

I look forward to contributing to the community!

Hi everyone, I recently bought a GRJ120 2 weeks ago. I have been following this site for 2 months and I got so much great advice to allow me to hopefully buy the right one.
It seems like such a good example. It's a manual on lpg and nearly immaculate. ARB bullbar and roof rack, dual battery. Such good value.
I serviced it and detailed it. Also adjusted the rear door as explained on here.
Long story short thanks very much for an awesome site.
