Bridgestone dualer at's

I have just brought a set of tjm side rails and a bull bar not yet fitted but will probably do a build thread on fitting them the prado is far from my first 4wd but by far the most refined! It's mums taxi 90% of the time and a nice car to get away in the other 10% I took it to tuff trucks last weekend 3200km round trip towing a tandem axel trailer and 5 mates it went really well but the auto is all over the place in it gear selection and just today first time we have had it in 4wd we now have a perminate slip lndicator warning light on the dash I guess it's back to the dealership where we brought it lets see how that goes
Cheers
Chris

Hey Lads,
I've been reading this forum for a few months now and have just recently started posting. Thought I would introduce myself!
I live in Melbourne and drive a 90s Prado which I am currently building up and loving every minute!
I'm always keen to hit the tracks on the weekend, so if anyone is looking for an extra truck to tag along on a weekend bash, please shoot me a PM.
Look forward to getting to know you all.
Cheers, Elz

I live in Adelaide, Australia. Found this forum from Google and thought I should register. I am planning to buy a prado. The reason I didn't buy any car yet because I am a bike rider! I love bikes.

Hi Guys, I've been lurking on this great site for a few months now while I was researching my new purchase.
Got heaps of valuable information which helped me to decide on my current purchase, so thanks to everyone for their valuable comments.
I just picked up my 2010 Prado SX 2 weeks ago.
It is silver, has rear air suspension, red arc electric trailer brake system and nudge bar.
I've got a few things on my wish list but it will be a case of installing them as I need them, however saying that I will be installing an on board air compressor from ARB soon.
Thanks again for all the valuable info and I look forward to being a part of this great community.
Cheers, Mario.

Hi All,
Been lurking awhile and thought it was time to say gday.
Came across this site researching to buy 4wd when partner and I quit our jobs to drive across Oz.
Had driven a few Prados and Landcruisers on the mines in WA, that combined with the very enthusiastic members on this forum convinced me.
2004 120 series GX 3ltr TD, White. 200K on it when brought.
4 spotties on the front, gen toyota bullbar, parrot handsfree, 6 stacker dvd/cd in the center console, all there when i purchased.
Added a roofrack, no brand china import off a fella selling on gumtree in Perth (pretty bloody happy with it TBH), rear work light, dual battery system with ABR Sidewinder Isolater, couple of extra 12v points in the rear, midway through rear drawer build (PP inspired!)
Wishlist: 5ltr/100km fuel economy like the misso's diesel i30. If i could get that all the other add ons would be affordable and no longer a wish!
Big thanks to the PP community, have been a great help for tracking down info for DIY mods and maintenance. After 6 months of wandering around we finally have a base again, so hopefully will be more active on here.
Cheers,
Kieran

Hi Guys... So these are a few snaps from the last trip to Mt Mee... 3 cars went: my pride and joy Prado, a Pajero and a kitted out Patrol.
Hill descent, Prado didn't flinch, the others got stuck... lolz
Although the patrol with its muddies and 2" lift did go down a path or 2 where i was not gonna risk it!

G'day fellow toy drivers.
Old member but just making posts now after nearly 3 years.
95 series Snowy GXL, 205,000 km on the clock
Tanzanite Blue
TJM Alloy powder coated Bar, Bilstein Shocks, Lovells springs H/D all round, 694 Duelers
Not much on the list eh!!
Snowy has been off the road for the last 3 years , explains the lack of posts from me. Had an electrical fire, wiped out the Fusebox, Battery, Charcoal Canister etc and localised damage to wiring loom and paint on the bonnet. Bought her for 17,000, written off by the insurance co so I bought her back as the damage looked bad but really was minimal. Buyback off the ins company was 1800, been running back on road for the last month and NO probs at all. 970 for electrical work and new battery, 852 for full mechanical insp and new part replacements, 90 for reg insp + rego. I must have the cheapest 95 series prado on the road.
Looking for some new spotties to replace the little Narva cheapies.
Wouldn't mind a reply to my post looking for some sound advice regarding this: New Driving lights.... What the Hella, 170 something views and not one reply to any of the questions I have.

Thanks, yeah I'm really pushing it with the missus now we've got the Prado on top of the 'toys', need to investigate chucking them on club rego methinks.
I'm more into the muscle car era stuff but do love the shape of the R and S Series.
