    Year: 2002
    Colour: White
Accessories: Bullbar, new suspension with 1.5 inch lift (pic shows before lift)
Wishlist: A lot on my wishlist but not a lot in my wallet to achieve all of it...

                Hi,

This is my very first post, so here goes.

Model: Today I took the plunge & bought a new 150 series SWB Prado SX Turbo diesel auto.
Have not taken delivery yet, due late next week (last & only one they had in stock).

                Year: 2010

                Colour: Silver

Accessories: Just a Toyota towbar so far (genuine Totoya towbars are very expensive)

Wishlist: My wish is that the vehicle is well built & reliable.
I want to use it to tow our off road camper (about 1 tonne) but i think the suspension maybe a bit soft, I will see how it goes.
Need to fit electric brake controller.
Might swop over the original tyres for BFG AT's, not sure yet, depends on price.
                Thats all for now.

                    Hi ntpryce,

I will have to work out how to post pictures !

I thought I put my location in the profile, must have stuffed up, its Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I had to think what does CT stand for, CAMPER TRAILER !
                    Its a Trak Trailer.
Yes got up early as i could not sleep, thinking about the new car coming.

                    Thanks for the welcome.

                      G'day All,

Another new one to the forum. Prado arrived just last week as an upgrade (?) from my beloved 80 Series ('94 GXL 4.5). The old girl has given us thousands of Kms of trouble free travelling, but time for something a little smaller, less thirsty, auto and a few more 'comforts'. Have had a Prado targeted as the replacement for some time, just took a while to get my act together. We now tow a Tambo camper having had a heavier KK for our extended trip a few years ago, so should be a good combination. The new car:

                      Model: KDJ120R Grande
                      Year: 2008
                      Colour: Dynamic Blue
Accessories: Sovereign bull bar, winch, snorkel.
Wishlist: Not much really, but I have a heap of gear to come across from the 80 series: Barrett 550 + Autotune, GME 3220 UHF, Prodigy brake controller, DC-DC charger, second battery, etc. So I will be hitting the search to get some advice on where to fit all this as the dash real estate is a fair bit more limited than the 80 Series.

                      Great forum.

                      Cheers,

                      Matt.

Welcome to the foum Matt. Sounds like you are way into things with a few transplants left to go. Hope the 120 will do you as well as the 80 did.
